Quote Animation

The goal of this video was to pick a quote and animate it to evoke emotion and feeling. I chose the quote, "stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not!" -unknown. I chose this quote because I thought it was humorous and relatable because everyone has stress. To start I wanted to make stress grow and shrink to the sound of heavy breathing to create the feeling one gets when they are stressed. Then I showed the letters mixing in a bowl with a stirring sound. The idea I was going for with this is that the words are building a recipe. They then fall with a pouring sound effect to symbolize cake batter and slowly rise up after the oven timer dings in a different font because it is dessert. Overall, I really enjoyed this project and I think figuring out how to create emotion with type as the only element was a challenge, but very rewarding.
